Age Restriction
It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to use sunbeds in the UK. Just Tan strictly adheres to this legislation. By using our services, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
Anyone who appears under the age of 21 may be asked to provide valid photographic identification, such as a passport or driving licence, as proof of age. Failure to provide suitable identification may result in refusal of service.
Just Tan reserves the right to request identification at any time and refuse access where there is doubt regarding age verification.
Health & Safety Declaration
By using the facilities at Just Tan, you confirm that:

You are medically fit and suitable to use UV tanning equipment.

You do not suffer from any medical condition that may be aggravated by UV exposure.

You are not using medication, skincare products, or treatments that may increase photosensitivity unless you have sought medical advice beforehand.

You understand that certain medications and treatments, including antibiotics, acne medication, and hormonal medication, may increase sensitivity to UV light.

You have sought medical advice where appropriate.

Sunbed use is not recommended for individuals who:

Have very fair or sensitive skin that burns easily and does not tan

Have a personal or family history of skin cancer

Are pregnant
-
Have been advised by a medical professional to avoid UV exposure
Use of salon facilities is subject to these Terms & Conditions and all safety guidance provided by Just Tan.
UV Exposure Warning
You acknowledge and understand that exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation may increase the risk of:

Skin cancer
-
Premature skin ageing
-
Burns and skin damage
-
Eye injury and cataracts
Just Tan does not guarantee tanning results and accepts no responsibility for individual skin reactions or outcomes.
Personalised Sessions
Our tanning sessions are tailored to your individual skin type and tanning history, in accordance with Sunbed Association guidelines, to promote a safe and effective tanning experience.
Session times and frequency remain at the discretion of Just Tan staff in accordance with safe tanning guidance.
Session Breaks & Safe Tanning Policy
To promote safe tanning practices, Just Tan recommends allowing 48 hours between tanning sessions where possible.
However, customers must allow a minimum interval of 24 hours between sessions.
For the safety and wellbeing of our customers, usage limits apply to all Just Tan Memberships, 30-day passes, 60-day passes, and any applicable tanning packages or promotions.
Customers must not exceed:

Maximum 15 minutes per session

Maximum 3 sessions per week
Tanning recommendations are provided to promote safe and responsible tanning practices.
Membership Terms
The Just Tan Membership is a recurring monthly subscription service.
By purchasing a membership, you agree that:

Membership is charged at £45.00 per month
-
Membership includes a minimum 3-month commitment

Membership payments renew automatically each month until cancelled
-
Membership benefits are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered member
-
Memberships cannot be shared between individuals
-
Sessions remain subject to availability and advance booking is recommended
Cancellation Policy
Memberships cannot be cancelled during the initial 3-month minimum term.
Following the minimum term, cancellation requires a minimum of 7 days’ notice prior to the next billing date.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing or via the approved cancellation method advised by Just Tan at thanet@justtan.me
Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the next monthly payment being collected.
Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
No refunds or credits will be issued for:

Unused sessions

Missed appointments
-
Change of mind
-
Temporary inability to attend
-
Early cancellation during the minimum term
Membership Suspension & Termination
Just Tan reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships where these Terms & Conditions are breached or where unsafe tanning practices, abusive behaviour, threats towards staff, or fraudulent, inappropriate, or unauthorised use of memberships occur.
Termination or suspension may be applied where necessary to protect the safety, wellbeing, and operation of the salon.
Booking Availability, Late Arrivals & No-Show Policy
While we endeavour to accommodate all bookings, sunbed availability cannot always be guaranteed. Advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

Appointments are subject to availability.

Customers arriving late may lose part or all of their allocated session time.

Repeated no-shows may result in booking restrictions or suspension of membership access.

Just Tan cannot guarantee appointment availability at preferred times.
Failure to attend a booked appointment may result in the session being forfeited. For prepaid single sessions, tanning packages, and passes, missed appointments or no-shows may result in the booked session or allocated minutes being deducted and cannot be refunded or reinstated.
Passes, Block Bookings & Expiry
Tanning passes, prepaid sessions, and block bookings are valid only for the period stated at the time of purchase.

30-day passes expire 30 days after the purchase date

60-day passes expire 60 days after the purchase date

Block bookings are valid for six months from the purchase date
Unused sessions expire automatically at the end of the validity period and cannot be carried over, transferred, exchanged, extended, or refunded.
All purchases are non-transferable and non-refundable unless required by law.
Equipment Availability
Just Tan cannot guarantee continuous equipment availability and shall not be responsible for periods of unavailability due to:

Equipment maintenance
-
Mechanical breakdown
-
Technical faults
-
Temporary closures
-
Staff shortages
-
Fully booked schedules
Just Tan reserves the right to amend pricing, opening hours, membership structures, and equipment availability at any time.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, customers are responsible for following all safety instructions, tanning guidance, and recommendations provided by Just Tan.
Just Tan does not guarantee tanning results and cannot accept responsibility for individual skin reactions or outcomes where customers choose to proceed with tanning following appropriate guidance and at their own discretion.
Just Tan, its owners, employees, and representatives shall not be liable for:

Loss of personal belongings

Any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the facilities
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot legally be excluded.
Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for their own belongings while on the premises.
Just Tan accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
Data Protection & Privacy
Just Tan securely stores customer information and tanning records for health, safety, operational, and legal purposes.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection legislation.
Customer information will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.
Customers may request access to their personal data in accordance with applicable legislation.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
Just Tan reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
The latest version will always apply and be available upon request.
